Jason Aldean Celebrates 31 No. 1 Hits with Star-Studded Surprise at CRS 2026

What was supposed to be a quick appearance turned into one of the most unforgettable nights of Country Radio Seminar as Jason Aldean was surprised with a celebration honoring his 31 No. 1 hits.

Held during BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s annual CRS event, the evening brought together some of country music’s biggest names to celebrate a career that has spanned more than two decades. Hosted by BMG Americas President Jon Loba and BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville EVP JoJamie Hahr, the event highlighted Aldean’s remarkable run: 13 Top 10 country albums and a staggering 31 chart-topping singles at country radio.

And for Aldean, the entire night came as a complete surprise. “This is crazy…this is wild,” he told the crowd after being welcomed to the stage by a room full of collaborators and friends. “I had no idea about tonight—I thought I was coming to play one song and hang out for a minute and go home.” Looking out at the packed room of songwriters, radio executives, and fellow artists, he added, “All the writers here tonight are why I have a career.”

A Career Built on Collaboration

That sentiment became the heartbeat of the evening. While Aldean’s name may headline the hits, the celebration made it clear that his success is deeply rooted in collaboration. More than 50 songwriters who contributed to his catalog were recognized throughout the night, representing the creative force behind songs that have defined modern country radio. Names like Rhett Akins, Ashley Gorley, Tyler Hubbard, and Brantley Gilbert were just a few among the many honored—each playing a role in shaping Aldean’s signature sound.

The night underscored how Nashville works at its best: a community of writers, artists, and radio champions working together to create songs that resonate far beyond Music City.

All-Star Performances Honor the Hits

In true celebration fashion, the evening featured a series of live performances from some of country music’s biggest stars—each paying tribute to Aldean by performing one of his No. 1 songs.

Blake Shelton hit the stage first as the curtain opened with a crowd-pleasing rendition of “When She Says Baby.” It was clear from that moment that it was going to be a night to remember. In true Blake Shelton fashion, also wrote a hilarious poem for Jason to honor this major career milestone.

Looking Ahead

Even as the night celebrated the past, it also pointed toward what’s next. Aldean’s upcoming album, Songs About Us, set for release on April 24th, includes his latest chart-topper “How Far Does A Goodbye Go” along with his new single “Don’t Tell On Me,” which has already made a strong impact at country radio.

The momentum continues into 2026, with Aldean earning nominations at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and announcing his upcoming Songs About Us Tour, along with a major hometown stadium show at the University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium alongside fellow Georgia native Luke Bryan.

A Legacy Still in Motion

If the night proved anything, it’s that Jason Aldean’s career is far from slowing down. With 31 No. 1 hits and counting, he has solidified his place as one of country music’s most consistent and influential artists. But in a room filled with collaborators, friends, and the voices behind the songs, the celebration felt less like a victory lap and more like a shared achievement.

For Aldean, it was never just about the numbers—it was about the people who helped him get there. And at CRS 2026, that story took center stage in the most unforgettable way.
