Curio Collection by Hilton Debuts in Madrid

Guests can now stay at the Hotel Montera Madrid, Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel, located on Calle de la Montera in Spain’s capital, was designed to capture the rich cultural heritage of the country. In fact, it was the montera hat from traditional Spanish costume, that inspired the hotel’s design. This theme is seen throughout, in everything from the artwork on the walls to the team members’ uniforms. Interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán created a welcoming ambience in the neoclassical building by marrying elegant and contemporary styles.

The hotel has 93 rooms, including eight executive suites in neutral tones to inspire tranquility. Rounded edges of mirrors and pictures frames, as well as delicate headboard trimmings pay homage to Old Spanish decorative style. The property is also sustainably efficient, due to LED lighting, energy saving window fittings and reusable water bottles in the rooms. Hotel Montera Madrid, Curio Collection by Hilton is conveniently located within walking distance of Madrid’s Plaza Mayor. The Golden Triangle of Art, led by El Prado Museum, is also nearby. Guests can embrace the city lifestyle while being immersed in its sights and culture.
